Streaks Start Out 1-0

A great way to start the season! I have seen improvements inning-to-inning. I really appreciate those of you that follow directions and give 110% each time you jog on the field- It really makes the difference & you shine as team leaders! My Granny always said, "Travel the road less traveled and great things will come to you!" I realize that always doing your best is sometimes exhausting. but keep your individual & team goals in the back of your mind & remember that hard work, self-discipline, determination, and sportsmanship are the ingredients that make you a real champion!
Quote for the day from "Teamwork" in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang:Teamwork, can make a dream work, if we all pitch in and try. Teamwork can make a dream work, and no mountain is to high! If the same great dream, is beating in each heart, there's no stopping what a fighting team can start. For, all together, a team can weather, any storm they may go through. Yes, teamwork, can make a dream work can make the greatest dreams come true.

"We're Better Together"

it's true! Just like Jack Johnson said in his lyrics... we're better together!
Yesterday was a great day to play softball. It was beautiful outside and just the right temp! It felt like our team was growing, just like things do in the spring! The good news is: It is not really spring yet, so we have gotten a head start! I have noticed you complimenting each other & backing each other up- these are small steps in becoming "ONE" - a TEAM. a FAMILY. A group that would do anything for ANY other person that is a part of their group.

Keep up the hard work! I am very proud of you & believe that your goals and dreams WILL come true if you continue to apply yourselves. Remember- We're better together!

Quote for the Day:
Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude is how well you do it.

Kaiti Galloway's Goal for herself- My personal goal for this softball season is to improve my batting average. Team Goal- My team goal for the season is to improve as a whole at each practice and at every game to wint the SVC and district.

Donielle Ison's Goal for herself- My own personal goal for myself is to improve on all things to make me an all-around better player. By learning to control my temper, which will take time, but I know I need in order to achieve my goals. Team Goal- My goal for the team is for all of us to play hard, play together, and win as a team. Also for all of individual goals to be accomplished.

Holly Brabson's Goal for herself- It may sound kid of crazy, but I want to be a good leader/example for the team. I think having the right leaders can turn an average ball team into not only a good ball team, but like a family!!! That is something that is important to me... I k now basketball and softball are two completely different sports, but our basketball team was teh best thing that happend for me this year. I have built relationships this year through the team that I wouldn't trade for anything! And for some I would lay down my own life for. Whe it was over, it was hard, it felt like part of my family just packed up and left. It is hitting me more now than before because I don't get to spend time with them, but we don't look at the sad times... We think about the good times and the memories we get to share together. There is just something about having a team/family that makes the game that much better. I am so thankful I got to be part of that team! I want our softball team to all come together, become a ball team, play hard, and never give up! Team Goal- My team goal is to become a team and just play the game like we know how and win, win, win! I would also like to get in the top 3 in the SVC and go far in the
districts! Quote for the day: What it comes down to is that anybody can win with the best horse. What makes you good is if you can take the 2nd or 3rd best horse and win! - Vicky Aragon
